First, read the questions below. Then, follow the link above to watch the homework video. Finally, answer the questions and bring your answers to class on Tuesday:

1) Has the relationship between Obama and the Pope been good or bad?

2) What do they agree on? Disagree on?

3) What did they give each other?

4) Listen to the rest of the report and be able to summarize the main details (important points) of two more of the news topics (besides the meeting between Obama and the Pope).

Homework 2

Before you watch the video above, make sure you know the meaning of the following words: struggle with, let loose, sibling rivalry, brat.  Then, watch the video and answer the following questions (bring your answers to class on Tuesday):

1) They talk about why birth order affects personality. What are some of the reasons they give?

2) What are some of the traits of the eldest child?

3) What suggestions does she give to parents for raising eldest children?

4) What are some of the traits of middle children?

5) What are some of the traits of the youngest child?

6) What happens if there is a big age difference between children?

3) Why does "emerging adulthood" often cause conflicts between parents and their children?

4) What are some of the reasons that emerging adults move home?
